A Bit About Me

I’m an insurance industry nerd of nearly 20 years and a top 1% agent in the country.

Based in the Aspen area, I work all across the country, specializing in high-end resort areas like the Hamptons, Tahoe, Vail, and Bel Air. I’ve carved a unique path for myself thanks to two things: my passion for helping clients get peace of mind, and my customization-focused approach. I’ll always use my clients’ goals as my North Star, never defaulting to the “standard” way of insuring projects and businesses.

Let’s talk about the early days.

I cut my teeth as a commercial service rep, then account manager, then account executive. Right away I saw a need for out-of-the-box thinking — it seemed like the whole industry was stuck in “That’s how we’ve always done it” land! The more policies I reviewed, the more claims I worked on, the more I interacted with clients, the hungrier I was to grow and be able to offer true, focused solutions. I also felt very alone: a young, confident woman with a voice, growing her career in a male-dominated industry. I was quickly labeled “tough” and constantly told to “slow down.”

The more experience and knowledge I gained...

the more bold ideas I came up with that strayed outside the status quo. This came with more pushback and eye-rolls. It was nothing I wasn’t used to, but I found myself wishing for an advocate. I had very few people I could turn to for mentorship, advice, or even career resources. I got my hands dirty building programs, tools, and connections on my own.

I also saw a need for support of high-end clientele.

This group needed a level of risk management and hands-on-service that wasn’t readily available in the market. There was a huge gap in insurance options for their specific needs, and a lack of draft insurance contract language that appropriately protected all parties within the insurance program placed. Even basic client resources like jobsite safety training, certificate collection, subcontractor vetting, didn’t exist.

The day everything changed:

When I stopped begging and demanded what I already earned--a seat at the table.
